SM and boys high school banged after Aespa was sexually harassed by Soompi students

This is a very serious matter.

This May 2, the aespa went to Kyungbock High School to perform there, a rite of passage for the idols of SM Entertainment as it is the school that ran the agency in her youth.

However, the girls’ transition to high school went pretty badly. Following the event, in fact, some photos were published, images that particularly annoyed the fans of the girlgroup.

From the photos and videos, it can be seen that SM Entertainment hasn’t sent any security guards for the girls. In many photos, we can see the girls walking among the students, who do not hesitate to approach them very closely.

Similarly, while they performed, the students took to the stage to take selfies with the girls, always without any security to intervene.

SM Entertainment and the school were therefore obviously widely criticized following this, all blaming the school and the agency for failing to protect aespa members.

This continued later when several students posted photos of the day with demeaning comments towards the girls, specifically explaining that they had been able to touch them or make comments about their physique.

To give you some examples of things posted by some of these students on social media:

“Sex!!!”
“My friends are here … Their bodies are fucking sexy”
“I did everything except being able to touch them”

Following this, an official statement was posted on the school’s website to apologize, but also to state that the degrading posts and sexual harassment suffered by the aespa were due to strangers entering the school, not high school students.

In this press release you could read:

“Today, the Kyungbock Alumni Association organized a celebration for the school’s 101st anniversary in our auditorium. The aespa idol group was invited to perform at the ceremony. However, after the event, there have been reports and events that have unilaterally damaged the reputation of aespa and SM Entertainment, so we would like to apologize first.

However, following a survey of our school students following media reports, it was determined that some external people who are not affiliated with our school visited the site and we were not allowed to enter for reasons of safety . Therefore, we can deduce that the malicious comments that have been posted on the Internet are not true.

However, after today’s event, we would like to once again apologize to SM Entertainment and aespa for damaging their reputation. “

A few hours later, the school finally found itself in turmoil. Indeed, an SMS was revealed which was sent by the school to all students and their parents, an SMS showing that the school simply asks students who have posted degrading and sexually harassing posts to delete them so that the school is out of danger.

In this SMS we can read:

“Emergency notice – request to remove all content relating to aespa’s services

There was an aespa performance for the 101st anniversary of Kyungbock High School. However, there are suggestive photos, videos and messages posted on our students’ SNS accounts. This is a situation where we could be held legally liable. We would like all of you to immediately remove all posted posts and content that relate to their performance.

Should this escalate in the press, the Ministry of Education will receive many complaints.

Parents, please guide your students to do as directed ”.

Unsurprisingly, the school was therefore heavily criticized after this revelation and the apology statement was even deleted from the school’s website.

However, the fans have not taken off and the school like SM Entertainment is still the subject of strong criticism.
